Chris Finley's "The Teased Edge" at ACME

These are some of the pictures I (and my sister Lee Ann) took at Chris' show which was extraordinary (including drawings, interactive and non-interactive sculptures and a painting). It was one of the most enjoyable shows I've been to in some time. Chris is also one of the most like-able people and a great mentor of mine.

Girl as Kiki?

I saw this image through purple magazine's blog and it took me to Jaime Martinez's website...inspiring photos. This one especially grabbed me since it reminds me of Miyazaki's "Kiki's Delivery Service" -- one of my favorite films. The only thing missing here is Jiji, Kiki's cat.
